At the Church in Denver, there’s something for everyone
Children
laying the foundation for a Christian life—Children from preschool through 6th grade meet on the Lord’s Day from 10 a.m. to noon for singing, Bible stories, character lessons, crafts, and snacks.
Teens
aiding the transition from following Mom and Dad to following Christ personally—Weekly gatherings on Saturday evenings and Lord’s Day mornings. Spring and fall mountain retreats and a weeklong summer Bible camp are additional highlights of our youth fellowship.
Home Groups
companionship for a daily Christian life—Come and enjoy meals, Bible study, and mutual fellowship, support, and encouragement in one of our many weekly home groups, just as the earliest believers met “day by day … from house to house” (Acts 2:46).
Conferences and Retreats
feeding on the word of God—The church in Denver hosts an annual ministry conference over Labor Day weekend and participates in a variety of extralocal ministry events as well.
Service Opportunities
find your place in our community—Every believer, as a member of the Body of Christ, has a unique role to fill in the building up of the Body. That means we need you! Come and join one or more of our service groups.
We need you!
We encourage all the believers to develop their God-given priesthood.
A priest serves God by contacting Him and ministering Him to others. Originally, God wanted His people, the Israelites, to be a kingdom of priests (Exo. 19:6), but because they sinned by making an idol (Exo. 32:4), the priesthood was given to a special class of people.
Although it may be a novel concept to many people that all believers can and should serve God as priests, it’s a concept that was clearly recorded in the New Testament centuries ago.
Revelation 1:5–6 says, “Jesus Christ … Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood and made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father.”
According to 1 Corinthians 12, we all are members of the Body of Christ. Like the members of a physical body—a foot, a hand, an ear, an eye—each one of us has a specific function in the Body of Christ. No one can replace any one of us—we all are needed!
